About WEKAS

WEKAS is the one-person business of Stephan Wemme, a certified application developer (Fachinformatiker) based in Leipzig, Germany.

After completing my training as a certified application developer and gaining hands-on experience as a PHP developer with Laravel and Symfony, I'm now deliberately deepening my skills in AI-assisted programming and process automation with tools like n8n and Make.com. With WEKAS, I combine solid engineering fundamentals with modern AI tools to help small and medium businesses build a strong web presence and automate their workflows.

I have a mixed academic and hands-on professional background: before my vocational training, I studied computer science and business administration at the University of Leipzig for a few years, then deliberately chose the practical path through vocational training instead. In between, I worked a range of different jobs, in retail, in offices, in logistics. That combination still helps me today: I combine the theoretical grounding from my studies with a very clear sense of what everyday work at a small business actually looks like, and that shapes every website and automation I build.
